It’s been just over a month since a new president was sworn into office in the living memory of over 80 percent of our people. The jubilation and euphoria is still very much alive. Thirty days in office is an important milestone both for President Nasheed and all Maldivians, regardless of the political affiliations. The Press and Publication’s Section of the President’s Office has published a document entitled ‘First 30 Days – A Summary of Achievements of the Government’ to mark the occasion. My friend who asked me to have a look at this document was utterly outraged and thought this is nothing but an affront to the President himself. And after having a cursory look at the document, I can’t find any reason to disagree with him. It is disheartening to see the capable new team at the President’s Office giving this rather premature opportunity for Mundhoodh to have the last laugh.

capable team? capable for what. bro? u must be a joker to think ppl like Furahani Shuaib is capable.
i guess it is the wisdom to carry out the functions of the executive in the true spirit of a democractically elected government, and to leave the delivery and management of their policies to the civil service; that would bring about the CHANGE that we so desired. now the government seems to want to do the functions of the civil service also by themselves. this distrust of the civil service has to go. by definition and nature; the civil service want to please the sitting government. labeling the civil service as an anti-govt institution and one that can be done away with, is the biggest mistake of the president's team.
look at how they went about announcing a joint venture for the airports company. clearly shows that this government has no clue as to what governance is; let alone good governance.
naimbeyyyyyyy....soon we will have you correcting other people's work 13 times ;-)
and where did you get the idea of 'jubilation and euphoria'?
in this document i dont see anything that can be identified as an achievement. it looks like a wish list or things that the government would like to do. very bad first attempt by Juha at spinning.
under fixing the Economy they say "a substantial amount of the $300 million pledged by the new government has already been sought". Someone, please tell me what this means. I bet Juha didnt even proof read this important document. Naimbey as u said bohmundhu will have a good laugh
Let's hope they have the guts to make this wish list come true.
Nobody in the former government can have the last laugh. Whatever Anni does in 5 or 10 years, with institutions that can challenge his every move, we always have Mamoon's 30 years to compare and contrast in which he did whatever he pleased without any challenge to his wishes or doings. And look where that got us!

Not to demean people who have unique and special talents, but I believe that all human beings are intelligent and creative and that if they put their mind and effort into it, they are capable of achieving great things.
Talking about capability i came across this comment. "He was incapable of winning the election without selling 30% of the government. He is incapable of appointing the best available people to run the country. He is incapable of upholding the integrity of our nation. He is incapable of continuing the reform agenda. He is incapable of fulfilling most of his election promises -$300 million in 15 days?"
